Ministerial Decree No. 588 regarding validation of the Regulation on financing of special ecological programs of rehabilitation of soil subject to radioactive contamination.

The present Regulation establishes the modalities and order of priority of financing of special ecological programs of rehabilitation of soil subject to radioactive contamination after examination by state ecological audit within common projects that envisage international contracts regarding import into the Russian Federation of radioactive assemblies. Financing of special ecological programs shall be carried out at the expense of foreign currency revenues from international operations with radioactive assemblies entered in special budgetary account of the Ministry of Nuclear Energy. For the purpose of financing special ecological programs shall be transferred 75% of the aforementioned finances except for the cost of treatment of the radioactive assemblies and derivates of the processing thereof validated by the Government of the Russian Federation in accordance with the establishes modalities. The selection of special ecological programs subject to insertion into a common project must carried out by the Ministry of Natural Resources by agreement with the Ministry of Nuclear Energy, the Ministry of Public Health and regional executive bodies of the regions on the territory of which must be carried out the arrangements envisaged by the aforesaid programs.
