Land administration includes matters of land ownership, land use, soil protection, real estate registration, land survey and mapping. Duties relating to such activities are competency of land administration offices which are coordinated centrally by the Minister. Detailed regulations regarding duties, competencies, authorities, organization and operation are subject of ministerial decrees. Offices are organized on a territorial basis.

Repealed by: Governmental Decree No. 338 of 2006 concerning land offices, the Institute of Geodesy, Cartography and Remote Sensing, the Geographical Names Committee and detailed rules of real estate registration proceedings. (2013-03-11)
