The present Act provides for community planning and development in the North West Territories. In particular, the purpose of a community plan is to provide a policy framework to guide the physical development of a municipality, having regard to sustainability, the environment, and the economic, social and cultural development of the community.

These Regulations amend the Registration (Strata Titles) Regulations in relation with application to the Commission of Strata Corporations by a corporation for first registration pursuant to section 4(4) of the Act and renewal of registration, and (application for) waiver or reduction of the prescribed fees pursuant to section 4A of the Act. They amend the First Schedule by adding various forms and insert a Second Schedule.

These Regulations amend the Regulations made under the Sectional Titles Act, 1986 in regulation concerning the organization of the sectional title register and in Annexure 1 concerning a form to be prepared by the Conveyancer regarding sectional mortgage bonds

This Act contains rules regarding the consolidation of agricultural land and redistribution of agricultural land for purposes of agricultural development and improvement of land use planning. Through the implementation of these plans, the Act aims to the conservation of the environment, including the creation of recreational areas and national parks.

This Act amends the Registration (Strata Titles) Act. It, among other things, establishes the Commission of Strata Corporations and the Strata Appeals Tribunal and in provisions covering a wide variety of matters including the Strata Corporations Register, audit and proceedings of the Tribunal. The functions of the Commission shall be to: a) monitor, regulate and supervise strata corporations; (b) keep or cause to be kept a register of such corporations; (c) facilitate the resolution of disputes. The Act defines the jurisdiction of the Strata Appeals Tribunal.

Main object of the Code is to ensure uniformity of law and policy with respect to land tenure, registration of titles relating to land, transfer of land, leases and charges in respect of land, easements and other rights and interests in land.

The Decree provides the regulation for redistribution of abandoned, denuded, mountainous lands or uncultivated lands to households and families in order to increase their agricultural productions. Households and families shall be assigned with those lands the right to use them and cultivate them.

For the purpose of the present Act “land re-adjustment” means the implementation of development of many plots of land by land replotting, improving or constructing infrastructure, and jointly bearing the burdens and equitably distributing the returns. To this end, there shall be above all cooperation between the private sector and the public sector, with the objective of utilizing land more appropriately with regard to transportations, economics, social, the environment and communities, and so as to be in line with urban planning.

The purpose of the present Law is the construction of a spatial information infrastructure in North Rhine-Westphalia and as such being part of the national spatial information infrastructure. the Law creates the legal framework for the: 1) access to geodata, geodata services and metadata, and 2) the utilization of such data and services, in particular for measures effecting the environment.
