This Act provides for a decentralised national system of planning and development. The Act defines planning duties of various local authorities established under the Local Government Act, 1993 and specifies procedures for the preparation and adoption of local development plans. The system shall be coordinated by the National Development Planning Commission, established under the National Development Planning Commission Act, 1994.

The present Regulation enacts the Water Resources Administration Act. Section 2 of the present Regulation establish that the Minister shall not issue a permit in respect of a building or structure within a designated reservoir area unless the building or structure is for agricultural purposes or for water control works; or b) the designated reservoir area, or that part thereof in which the building or structure is or will be situated, is under a town planning scheme, a planning scheme, or a development plan. The present Regulation enacts the Water Resources Administration Act. Section 1 establishes that the dyking systems set out in the Schedule are established as designated dyking systems protecting the lands described therein, and each has the name given to it in the section heading preceding the description.

This Resolution is composed of 42 articles. Articles 1 to 3 deal with the establishment and management of the Objection Committee. Articles 4 to 6 entrust the Committee to make decision and render judgment in controversies concerning proprieties, areas and boundaries of expropriated lands, as well as to value compensations. Articles 7 to 34 provide for procedures and measures for objections. Articles 35 to 42 pertain to steps and procedures for decisions of the Committee.

The aim of this Resolution is to lay down bases and foudations in order to regulate and arrnge the creation, development and rehabilition of urban communities outside the protection areas and administrative boundaries of cities and provinces. It is composed of 17 articles. Article 1 gives terms and definitions. Article 4 decrees that the establishment and creation of urbn communities shall be carried out by a resolution of the Council of Ministers after the ratification of the High Committee.

This Resolution is composed of 7 Chapters divided into 34 articles. Chapter I gives terms and definitions. Chapter II deals with the establishment of industrial zones, in particular: establishment and definition of industrial zones shall be carried out by a resolution of the Prime Minister; industrial zones are divided into branches industrial zones and branches into sub-branches; maps; industrial activities shall start within a year from the date of the receipt of land vouchers; and, keeping of land registers. Chapter III pertains to the exploitation of lands destined to industrial zones.

Articles 3 to 5 define competencies of the Department of Industrial Zones, in particular to: divide industrial zones by the cooperation with Physical Planning Department and with the Environment Apparatus; prepare maps; and, keep a register for industrial zones.
