General
The project builds on the lessons of PAFA, which is being implemented in the Groundnut basin, and aims to improve the livelihoods of 25,000 farmers households in the regions of Kaolack, Fatick, Kaffrine and Diourbel and the Louga agro-pastoral region, through their incorporation into diversified, profitable value chains. It specifically intends to improve food security and the income of small-scale producers and to create jobs for rural inhabitants, especially young people and women. Activities related to land governance support formal land allocation and women's access to land.
