The present Implementation Plan implements the Nunavik Inuit Land Claims Agreement by detailing the obligations of all the Parties. The afore-mentioned Agreement established four implementing bodies: Nunavik Inuit Land Claims Agreement Implementation Committee; Nunavik Marine Region Impact Review Board; Nunavik Marine Region Planning Commission; Nunavik Marine Region Wildlife Board; As required by the Agreement, the Implementation Committee forms the primary interface for the overall treaty relationship.The text – consisting of 30 articles – deals , inter alia, with the following aspects: general provisions, eligibility and enrolment, wildlife and establishment of the Nunavik Marine Region Wildlife Board, harvesting, wildlife management and harvesting in marine areas beyond the Nunavik marine region, Nunavik Inuit lands, protected areas, entry and access, wildlife compensation, resource royalty sharing, capital transfer, the Nunavik Inuit Trust, commercial fishing and aquatic plant gathering offshore Labrador. Three Annexes are enclosed.
