Under these Regulations, the whole of Northwest Territories in constituted as a registration district for the purposes prescribed by the Land Titles Act.

These Regulations implement the Commissioner’s Lands Act by providing in details on the administration of the Act, applications for lands covered by the Act, reservations, the sale of Commissioner’s Land, quarrying leases, hay permits, quarry permits and quarry administration agreements.

It contains provisions on registration districts, land officers, certificates of titles, trusts, land transfers, plans, leases, mortgages and on related fees.
