This Decision sets out methods for evaluating the ex-agricultural cooperatives property. Whenever the property is evaluated and distributed, or has not been distributed, the prices to be applied will be those of the evaluation period indexed at the re-evaluation time, while in cases where the property is evaluated and compensation has already been paid, the case is considered completed and no indexes shall be applied.

Law No. 9244 on agricultural land protection.
The objective of this Law is: (i) to determine the principles, the rules and the institutions relevant to the sustainable protection and improvement of agricultural land, giving particular regard to soil fertility; (ii) to harmonize rights and benefits of agricultural land ownership with the responsibilities for its sustainable use; (iii) to protect and rehabilitate agricultural land from adverse effects caused by harmful impact of climate and human factors.
Law No. 9407 amending Law No. 7843 on the immovable property registration.
The present Law lays down certain amendments to Law No. 7843 on the registration of immovable property, mainly dealing with the status of the Central Office for Immovable Property Registration. It changes the name of the office into the Office for Immovable Property Registration and provides further changes to the office structure, organization and activities scope.

Law No. 8090 amending Law No. 7843 on immovable property registration.
This Law supplements Law No. 7843 on the registration of immovable property. It is hereby recognized the right of access to the unclassified documents and information. The addenda also deal with the status of the Central Office of the Immovable Property Registration. The Chief Registrar shall be in charge of the organization and management of the Office, shall designate the registrars and assistants and shall approve the organizational structure of the office. The procedures for registration of the transactions with immovable property are amended as well.
Law No. 9388 amending Law No. 9235 of 2004 on restitution and compensation of property.
The present Law lays down some amendments and addenda to Law No. 9235 of 2004 on restitution and compensation of property. The amendments extend the deadlines set by the Law above-mentioned, such as the deadlines for requesting the verification of the issued decisions (from 6 to 18 months) and those for submitting new requests from the expropriated persons from 1 to 2 years.
