This Regulation provides for the establishment of the institutions that shall be responsible for agricultural land protection and regulates their composition and responsibilities. The Regulation is composed of the following Chapters: (I) State Committee of Land Protection; (II) State Inspectorate of Land Protection; (III) Regional Committee of Land Protection; (IV) Regional Inspectorate of Land Protection; (V) Final Provisions.

Law No. 7824 amending Law No. 7745 the re-evaluation and re-distribution of the ex-agricultural cooperative properties.
The present Law supplements Law No. 7745 on the re-evaluation and re-distribution of the ex-agricultural cooperative property by introducing new provisions dealing with the social and cultural assets of the ex-agricultural cooperatives and the offices of the ex-people’s councils. They can be transferred to the commune or the municipality upon decision of the competent council. The compensation shall be paid within three years.

Law No. 8090 amending Law No. 7843 on immovable property registration.
This Law supplements Law No. 7843 on the registration of immovable property. It is hereby recognized the right of access to the unclassified documents and information. The addenda also deal with the status of the Central Office of the Immovable Property Registration. The Chief Registrar shall be in charge of the organization and management of the Office, shall designate the registrars and assistants and shall approve the organizational structure of the office. The procedures for registration of the transactions with immovable property are amended as well.
Law No. 9407 amending Law No. 7843 on the immovable property registration.
The present Law lays down certain amendments to Law No. 7843 on the registration of immovable property, mainly dealing with the status of the Central Office for Immovable Property Registration. It changes the name of the office into the Office for Immovable Property Registration and provides further changes to the office structure, organization and activities scope.

Law No. 9583 amending and supplementing Law No. 9235 of 2004 on the restitution and compensation of the property.
This Law lays down some amendments and addenda to Law No. 9235 of 2004. The amendment extends the scope of the Law to the immovable properties created before 7 April 1939 and sequestrated according to Law No. 37 of 1945 on the extraordinary tax on war profits. It also revises the list of the properties that cannot be restituted and that of the properties that serve the public interest. Furthermore, the amendment revises the regulations dealing with State-owned land and residences.
