We Effect (formerly Swedish Cooperative Centre) was funded in 1958. We are a development cooperation organisation applying a long-term, rights based approach in order to effect change.

Our guiding principle is support to self-help initiatives. We work in 25 countries across four continents, from Guatemala, via Zambia and Moldova to the Phillipines. Our focus areas are Rural development, Housing, Gender equality and Access to land.

Active in Angola since 1989, World Vision Angola is currently undergoing an emergency response to alleviate the deepening food security crisis and save the lives of malnourished children under 5 in South West Angola. 

World Vision is amongst the largest, child focused, development NGO’s with 46,000 staff, working in 1650 communities reaching over 120 million people in nearly 100 countries. World Vision provides emergency assistance to children and families affected by disasters and conflict, unlocks the potential for communities to alleviate poverty, and advocates for justice on behalf of the poor.

The Global Land Indicators Initiative is a collaborative and inclusive process for the development of the Global Land Indicators started by the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), UN-Habitat and the World Bank (WB), facilitated by GLTN. This initiative has now grown to include over 30 institutions around the world ranging from UN Agencies, Inter-governmental Organizations, International Nongovernmental Organizations, Farmer Organizations and the Academia.

On 6 March 2015, at its forty-sixth session, the United Nations Statistical Commission created an Inter-agency and Expert Group on SDG Indicators (IAEG-SDGs), composed of Member States and including regional and international agencies as observers. The IAEG-SDGs will provide a proposal of a global indicator framework (and associated global and universal indicators) for consideration by the Statistical Commission at its forty-seventh session in March 2016.

The UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) has been operating since 2012 under the auspices of the UN Secretary-General. SDSN mobilizes global scientific and technological expertise to promote practical solutions for sustainable development, including the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Climate Agreement.

O Centro de Estudos, Articulação e Referência sobre Assentamentos Humanos – CEARAH Periferia – é uma organização não governamental sem fins lucrativos, criada em 1991, que atua principalmente em Fortaleza e Região Metropolitana (CE-Brasil). Filiado à Associação Brasileira de Organizações Não Governamentais (Abong) e membro do Conselho Nacional das Cidades.
