The scope of this Law shall be to ensure public access to information detained by state bodies, institutions and local government. It establishes the modalities of release of information upon request of natural and legal persons. This Law shall be applicable to documentation available at state bodies and institutions. Information shall be available to public access in cases if otherwise is not envisaged by acting legislation. It shall not be applicable to exchange of information between state bodies and institutions. Information shall be classified as general access and limited (restricted) access.
