Agricultural and Livestock Policy nine general objectives are: Assure basic food security for the nation, and to improve national standards of nutrition by increasing output, quality and availability of food commodities.
This Act, as referred to in Clause (1) of art. 244 of the Constitution, amends part IX of the Constitution, related to Panchayats Extension to the Scheduled Areas.
