As land represents more than half of the investment in agriculture in the United States, it follows that the nature of its ownership is related to the public interest. Our national supplies of food and fiber depend upon the output of the land. Title to it as he wishes.

The present Act lays down provisions relating to land consolidation. Article 1 establishes that to improve production, working conditions in agriculture and forestry, as well as to improve general land use planning and land development, owned land may be consolidated.
The Regulations contain rules for the election procedure of the Soil Conservation District Advisory Committee, provided for in section 15 of the principal Act.
Repealed by the Farmland Act - Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Law No. 11/2012.....Replaced the Land Nationalization Act of 1948
