This Decree states that the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources shall be charged with making a survey of the areas under risk of landslides in Baku and Absheron peninsula and producing maps to determine the geographic coordinates of these areas. The local authorities shall ensure the coordination with the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources to approve the construction projects in these areas in accordance with the Article 75.4 of the Code of Urban Planning and Construction. This Decree underlines that to be approved the construction projects must meet construction standards set for landslides. The State Committee of Urban Planning and Architecture shall improve the construction norms.
