This Law establishes organizational and legal grounds for establishment of and compliance with legal status of land pertaining to trunk pipeline protected zone with a view of ensuring continual operation and functioning thereof, rational land tenure, and ensuring environmental protection and environmental security. The main tasks of this Law shall be: (a) to perform protection arrangements aimed at protection of human life, health and environment; (b) conservation of ecologically friendly environment; (c) restriction of some activities in protected zones; and (d) compensation to the owners of land plots located in protected zones of losses due to restrictions on land tenure.
