This Regulation lays down rules governing urban planning. It is composed of six Chapters: (I) Types, content and procedures of urban planning; (II) Rules and conditions of urban planning; (III) Roads outside residence areas and constructions alongside; (IV) Rules for designing and planning water pipelines; (V) Role and tasks of the Urban Planning and Studies Institute; (VI) Urban symbols. Environmental impact assessments shall be carried out. Each master planning shall define policies for urban zones and shall identify the main problems of each zone, taking into account the historical, environmental and tourism aspects.
