In our vision, land, including both terrestrial and marine areas, will contribute to economic development in agriculture, fisheries, tourism, trade, manufacturing and other sectors. It will also provide the space for all Saint Lucians to live and shelter, it will contribute to food security for the nation and good nutrition for all its citizens.

The Final National Land Policy (NLP) of Sierra Leone provides the vision, principles and policy components to give direction to and definition of the roles and responsibilities of various government and customary authorities, and other non-state actors, in land management. Specifically, it enunciates policy statements in respect of the key components of the National Land Policy such as access to land and tenure, land use, regulation and the management of special land issues, land administration structures, land laws and the Constitution.

This Regulation of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, which is composed of 17 articles and two Annexes, sets out the conditions and restrictions on land use and implementation of activities in areas at risk from flooding and associated erosion of inland waters and the sea.

This Administrative Order, consisting of 5 sections, makes Local Government Units, particularly Provinces to adopt in planning activities the Guidelines for mainstreaming Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) in Subnational Development and Land Use/Physical Planning. Pour remédier aux graves menaces de la désertification et de la dégradation de ses ressources naturelles, Madagascar s’est doté d’un Plan d’Action National (PAN) de lutte contre la désertification aligné au plan cadre stratégique décennal 2008-2028. L’objectif global du PAN aligné est d’améliorer le capital productif (sol, eau et ressources biologiques naturelles) comme moyen de lutte contre la désertification et la dégradation des terres.

L’Union des Comores a élaboré le présent Plan d’Action National de Lutte contre la Désertification (PAN), afin de se conformer au Plan-cadre décennal stratégique 2008-2018 qui a reformé la Convention des Nations Unies sur la Lutte contre la Désertification (CLD).

By this Decree, the rules were approved regarding permit for process engineering and agricultural activities in lands affected by landslide, flood, erosion, wind erosion, land subsidence, abrasion and volcanic mud as well as in wetlands. This Decree states that the State Committee of Geology and Mineral Resources shall be the authorized body for assessment of exposure and monitoring of exogenous geological processes and shall take measures against them.
