This Decree-Law, consisting of four Chapters, creates the new structure of the Ministry of Environment, Housing and Territorial Planning (MAHOT).

La loi n° 86-2 du 3 janvier 1986 relative à l’aménagement, la protection et la mise en valeur du littoral (dite « loi littoral ») prévoit que le secrétariat général du Conseil national de la mer et des littoraux (CNML) est assuré par le délégué interministériel au développement durable, conjointement avec le délégué interministériel à l’aménagement du territoire et à l’attractivité régionale et le secrétaire général à la mer.

The Order sets regulations regarding the establishment, operation and supervision of geothermal systems with the purpose of preventing pollution of groundwater, soil and subsoil. The established systems shall operate in using soil as a heating sources. Applications for authorization to establish such systems is required and shall comply with criteria detailed in Appendix 1. The installation shall be provided with a pressure monitoring switch (1), an alarm (2) and a safety device in the event of a leak.

These Regulations, made by the Member of the Executive Council for Housing and Local Government of the Northern Cape Province under 27 the Development Facilitation Act, 1995, provide procedural rules relative to the setting and reviewing land development objectives by all local government authorities in the province under supervision of the Member of the Executive Council (MEC) as provide for by Chapter IV of the Act.

This Decree Law sets forth the duties and responsibilities of the Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning.

A landscape simulation was designed and tested in Viengkham, a mountainous district in the north of Lao PDR. This social learning process was introduced by researchers affiliated with national research institutions to improve land use planning practices and increase the ownership of local people in the planning process. Twelve members of the village land management committees participated in the role play called PLUP Fiction, which is part of a stepwise process of participatory land use planning (PLUP).

This Decree extends the working of the original Decree establishing the Environment, Nature and Town and Country Planning Research Council and thus implicitly recognizes the important research, policy and planning functions of the Council in the field of environment, town and country planning and nature conservation and restoration in the Netherlands.

The Regulations establish a scheme (the “Environmental Stewardship”) under which the Secretary of State may make grants for the management of land. Regulation 3 enables the Secretary of State to make a grant to any person who enters into, and complies with, the conditions of an environmental stewardship agreement with the Secretary of State. The agreement must require the beneficiary to carry out an activity which is conducive to a specified purpose on land in which he has an interest. It also provides for the variation of the conditions of such agreements.

Le présent décret modifie certaines dispositions du Code de l'urbanisme relatives aux espaces remarquables du littoral. Lorsqu'ils identifient des espaces ou milieux relevant du présent article, les documents d'urbanisme précisent, le cas échéant, la nature des activités et catégories d'équipements nécessaires à leur gestion ou à leur mise en valeur notamment économique.

This Order establishes the planning for the recreational harbours within the Municipality of Albufeira. It consists of 7 chapters establishing requirements and conditions to be met in order to manage and authorize every activity to be performed within the said area (including land use planning, coastal area planning, construction of port facilities, etc.).
