La presente Ley suspende la aplicación del Decreto Legislativo Nº 1090, Ley Forestal y de Fauna Silvestre y del Decreto Legislativo Nº 1064, Régimen jurídico para el aprovechamiento de las tierras de uso agrario; restituye el texto de la Ley Nº 27308, Ley Forestal y de Fauna Silvestre y de la Ley Nº 26505, Ley de la inversión privada en el desarrollo de las actividades económicas en las tierras del territorio nacional y de las comunidades campesinas y nativas; y restituye parcialmente la vigencia del Decreto Legislativo Nº 653, Ley de promoción de las inversiones en el sector agrario.

Every landlord of an extent of paddy land in respect of which there is a tenant cultivator shall furnish in the prescribed manner the following information to the Commissioner: (a) name of the landlord; (b) name of the tenant cultivator; (c) extent of the paddy land cultivated by the tenant; (d) any other information as may be required. The maximum extent of paddy land that could by cultivated by a tenant is fixed at five acres.

These Measures, consisting of 31 Articles, are formulated in accordance with the Law on the Rural Land Contracting. A member of a rural collective economic organization is entitled to contract the rural land of such rural collective economic organization. The Contractor shall obtain the right to land contractual management after the contract enters into effect. The right to land contractual management obtained through household contract may, according to law, be circulated by subcontracting, leasing, exchanging, transferring or other means.
