The Government of the Czech Republic (Czech: Vláda České republiky) exercises executive power in the Czech Republic. The members of the government are the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic (Chairman of the Government), the deputy ministers and other ministers. It has its legal basis in the Constitution of the Czech Republic.

The government is led by the Prime Minister, who selects all the remaining ministers. Government of the Czech Republic is responsible to the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic. The Prime Minister is appointed by the President of the Czech Republic.

Decree on identification and fixing of ecological damage to soil.

This Decree of the Ministry of Environment, which is composed of seven articles and one Annex, lays down methods of preparation of risk analysis, method of evaluation of the appropriateness and feasibility of fixing measures, determination of the aim of fixing measures and method of proving achievements of the aim, including method of comparison of alternative procedures of reduction or elimination of risks to human health, and way to assess these risks from direct or indirect introduction of substances, preparations, organisms or micro-organism to the Earth's surface or below it.

This Decree lays down some amendments to the Decree on requirements for the landfill of waste. In particular, the present Decree lays down technical requirements for landfills and conditions of their use (originally specified in art. 3 of the amended Decree) and general technical requirements and conditions for the use of waste on the ground surface (art. 12).

Decree on the use of sediment on agricultural land.

This Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Environment, which is composed of six articles and six Annexes, establishes conditions and method of the use of sediment on agricultural land, way of keeping records on the use of sediment, the limit value of hazardous substances in sediment and in soil, where the sediment will be used, requirements for other physico-chemical and biological properties of sediment and procedures of analysis of sediment and soil, including sampling methods.

This Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture establishes the new values of limits of hazardous elements in fertilizers, manure, soil conditioners, auxiliary plant preparations and substrates (Annex 1 of the amended Decree), and allowable tolerances (Annex 2), and the new list of types of fertilizers (art. 3).
