This Law ensures constitutional right of the Moldova nationals to cultural activity and protection of cultural heritage. It regulates the issues of protection and management of cultural heritage. The Government shall have the duty to protect intellectual property rights that shall be protected by the law. National cultural heritage shall be determined by the Government by agreement with the Parliament and shall have particular storage, conservation and management regime. Privatization of the objects of national cultural heritage shall be prohibited.
