Ministerial Decree No. 1140 of 2009 amending Ministerial Decree No. 985 of 2009 defining regulators for building on agricultural lands outside the approved urban cordons of towns and cities. .

This Ministerial Decree amends articles 12 and 13 of the Ministerial Decree No. 985 of 2009 defining regulators for building on agricultural lands outside the approved urban cordons of towns and cities as the following: (a) applicants shall pay (1000 – 5000) pounds for the Central department for Land Protection by the Agricultural Credit Bank and then to be transferred to the Central Bank of Egypt for services provided by the Department; (b) applicants for licences to build outside the approved urban cordons shall pay amount of 100 Egyptian pounds for each application to the General Authority of Executive Bureau for Land Improvement Projects to finance reconstruction projects, restore soil fertility of agricultural lands and increase the agricultural production.

Amends: Ministerial Resolution Law No. 985 of 2009 defining requirements and controls for building on agricultural lands outside the urban cordons approved for villages and cities including cases excluded (A,B) of article II of the Construction Law No.119 of 2008. (2009)
Repealed by: Ministerial Decree No. 1836 of 2011 licensing procedures for the construction of premises and buildings on agricultural land. (2011-10-18)
