Evangelia Balla, Ph.D., is a Dr. Surveying Engineer, Urban & Regional Planner (National Technical University of Athens). She has an academic background and professional experience in Land Administration, Spatial Planning, Geogovernance, Real Estate, and Project Management. Dr. Balla is currently an external Researcher at the Department of Urban and Regional Planning and Geo-information Management at the Faculty of Geo-information Management and Earth Observation (ITC) of the University of Twente (NL). She has been an executive member in several state organizations or scientific and civil society associations in Greece related to Land, Property Rights, Spatial Planning, and Environment. She participates in expert committees, scientific fora, and research groups in Greece and abroad and has authored papers in her field of expertise.
