F.a: Indigenous Rights and Forest regeneration and protection in Chhattisgarh

The project aims at capacitating and supporting the indigenous community to secure their rights and entitlements on forest land. The emphasis will be on collective rights over commons and Habitat rights of particularly vulnerable tribal groups who increasi ngly facing threat of displacement due to expansion of industrial projects.The project also intend to address the adverse impact of climate change which forest dwellers and marginal tribal agriculturalist are facing. ASM is launching a campaign on forest r egeneration/plantation of useful and climate resistant trees and traditional agriculture.It will take up study and put advocacy efforts for state/governmental measures to promote climate change resistant plantation and traditional agriculture.The project a lso aims at activating such institutions which have potential to promote tribal cause and issues. The project will build awareness among community about these institutions and arrangements.

Gender Equality and Land Rights for Pastoralist Communities in Northern Tanzania

The project is designed to improve community resilience for pastoralists through gender equality and land rights. To facilitate more sustainable, secure and diverse livelihoods, the project will secure land for pastoralist communities through Land Use Planning (LUP) and associated Customary Certificates for Right of Occupancy – a CCRO is an innovative form of land tenure that allows communal land ownership to be legally recognised.

Stand Up for Women's Land Rights in Tanzania

Stand For Her Land is advocating with and for women in Tanzania for secure and equal rights to land. With secure land rights, women not only have safe shelter but a chance at a more sustainable livelihood. Despite laws and policies that strengthen women's land rights, women around the globe, and many in Tanzania, face obstacles in exercising those rights. Stand For Her Land is working to close this gap between the laws and practice, empowering millions of women in the process.

Improving trans-boundary agribusiness responsible land governance in C,L,M,V II

General

Oxfam in Myanmar seeks to contribute to the overall Mekong Regional Land Governance (MRLG) outcomes by engaging Myanmar and international agribusiness companies on land issues. In Myanmar, Oxfam will engage with local companies in Oxfam -organised workshops and meetings to raise awareness of land issues in the Shan and Kachin States. In addition, Oxfam will conduct research on company -community conflicts surrounding land acquisition in Myanmar, and support Oxfam in Vietnam's scoping trip and roundtable with Vietnamese companies in Myanmar. Oxfam in Myanmar will also participate in regional MRLG exchange trips and forums.
