This Act provides rules for the practice and activities of surveyors designated in writing by the Minister. The activities are related to surveying by such surveyors on private land. The Minister may by Notification direct that the boundaries of lands within such limits as are defined in the Notification shall be demarcated under this Act. Upon the Notification, the Director of Surveys or an authorized Licensed Land Surveyor may enter upon the relevant lands and do all things necessary for the demarcation of the boundaries of such lands.

This Regional Law regulates classification of land by categories and transfer of land from one category to another. Transfer of land to and from the category of urban land shall entail mandatory modification of the boundaries of inhabited areas.

The present Regulations are made under section 26 of the Heritage Property Act. In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to purpose and content of heritage conservation plans. The text - consisting of 14 sections – deals, inter alia, with the following aspects: definitions of terms, content of a conservation by law, background studies and information, approval procedures, repeal, Council decisions on certificates.

The present Regulations are made under the Planning and Development Act 200.

This Regional Law establishes simplified procedure for legalization of land rights, envisaging excessive of land dimension that can be inserted in the documentation fixing land rights after land survey practices with more accurate calculation of land area: (a) for gardening 0,06 ha; (b) for horticulture and vegetable growing – 0,06 ha; and (c) for subsistence farming – 0,06 ha.

This Regional Law delimits plenary powers between state bodies in the sphere of land relations. Regional Administration shall carry out the following plenary powers: (a) management of public land; (b) establishment of authorized regional state institution in the sphere of land relations; (c) decision-making related to purchase of land for public purposes; (d) imposition of use restrictions on land; (e) establishment of the amount of land charges and land lease fees; (f) establishment of the modalities of land survey; and (g) decision-making related to expropriation of land.

The present Ordinance implements the Introductory Law relating to the Spatial Information Act of 2 May 2010 and the Cantonal Spatial Information Ordinance of 14 August 2012. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the levying of fees for access and use of geo-data of the Canton as well as the use of geo-services. The present Ordinance implements the Introductory Law relating to the Spatial Information Act. In particular, the present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the official survey, geographical names and correct addresses of buildings. The present Ordinance implements the Introductory Law relating to the Spatial Information Act of 2 May 2010. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to access, receipt and use of spatial information in the Canton of Glarus.

These Regulations amend the Land Surveyors (Fees for Survey of State Lands) by revoking and replacing the Schedule, which specifies fees for surveys, including the survey of an agricultural site.

The present Decree enforces the Great Council Ordinance of 5 July on the introduction of a Land Register. Article 1 establishes that the Canton levies fees relating to entries in the Land Register.
