Char Development and Settlement Project (CDSP IV)

General

The project aims to develop improved and more secure livelihoods for poor people living on newly accreted coastal islands known locally as chars in the areas of Lakshmipur, Noakhali and Chittagong. This will be achieved through the provision of support for rural livelihoods, legal title to land and climate-resilient infrastructure benefiting about 28,000 households. On land and natural resource governance, the project aims to improve land record systems and to provide land titles for 20.000 households.
