This Regulation, consisting of 21 sections divided into six Parts and completed by five Schedules, establishes the requirements contracts for sale of land within the New South Wales territory. It specifies the following issues: Documents to be attached to contract; Implied term of all contracts and land tax; Implied term of contract if strata units bought off the plan; Implied term of contract for land and house packages; Implied warranty; Prescribed persons and bodies; Exemptions, etc.This Regulation is divided as follows: Part 1 Interpretation; Part 2 Contracts for sale of land (including Documents to be attached to contract); Part 3 Cooling off period for sale of residential property (including Form of statement relating to cooling off period); Part 4 Options for purchase of residential property; Part 5 Purchasers’ remedies for rescind to contract and Part 6 Miscellaneous. Schedules list the following issues: Prescribed documents (1); Prescribed terms (2); Prescribed warranties (3); Exempt contracts, options and land (4); Forms (5).
