This Regional Law establishes plenary powers of the regional state bodies in the sphere of protection of traditional habitats, traditional way of life, economic activities and traditional community management of indigenous peoples and also sets forth the types of state support thereto. The scope of this Regional Law shall be to improve living standards of indigenous peoples. Regional Administration shall be authorized to impose use restrictions on economic activities in the areas of traditional living of small indigenous ethnic communities. State support of indigenous peoples shall be performed in the following ways: (a) public financing; (b) donation of property; and (c) other unspecified types of state support.
