This Act provides for the establishment of the Dominica Air and Sea Ports Authority as a body corporate, defines powers and functions of the Authority, provides with respect to administration and operations of the Authority and regulates certain matters in respect of airports and seaports.The Authority shall provide integrated port services and may, among other things, operate ports and regulate and control navigation in ports. The Minister may, on recommendation of the Authority, make Regulations with respect to, among other things: control and management of foreshores of any port; and control of substances that may pollute waters of ports.
