Tanzania: Lukuvi Revokes Title Deeds for Grabbed Graveyard

Title deeds for plots number 213 and 217 at Kinyerezi- Sokoni in Dar es Salaam's Ilala District have been revoked.
Lands, Housing and Human Settlements Development Minister William Lukuvi has revoked the titles of the plots, which were earlier used as a cemetery and later maliciously transferred to Nditonda Benno Chukilizo and Pascal Kyomya Kazungu.
Pa-O Youth Organization
The Pa-O Youth Organization (PYO) was set up on 4th December, 1998 by monks, women and youth who came from various places in the Pa-O areas in Burma. PYO is a member of the Students and Youth Congress of Burma (SYCB) and the Nationalities Youth Forum (NYForum). It is a non-violent independent youth organization striving for peace, justice and democracy in Burma.
The main aims of PYO are:
1. To establish a new society based on the principles of peace and justice.
United Nations Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights
The Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (CESCR) is the body of 18 independent experts that monitors implementation of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rightsby its States parties. The Committee was established under ECOSOC Resolution 1985/17 of 28 May 1985 to carry out the monitoring functions assigned to the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) in Part IV of the Covenant.

Cambodia Ministry of Planning
The Ministry of Planning consists of two main parts, namely the General Directorate of Planning (GDP) and the National Institute of Statistics (NIS). The MoP is responsible for guiding and managing national socioeconomic development planning (GDP) and managing the statistical functions of the Royal Government (NIS). It works in close cooperation with other Ministries and institutions in Cambodia.
Analyzing Development Issues Centre Cambodia
The Analyzing Development Issues Centre (ADIC) was registered with Cambodia’s Ministry of the Interior on 4 April 2011. ADIC began from the Cooperation Committee of Cambodia (CCC)’s Analyzing Development Issues (ADI) Project in 1999 and transformed as an NGO in 2011. ADIC’s initial goal was to increase the critical thinking skills of NGO staff and their capacity to analyze development issues through development research that contributes to beneficial social change in local communities.
