Global Hunger Index (GHI)

The Global Hunger Index (GHI) is calculated as the average of three indicators, the proportion of the population that is undernourished (Undernourishment), the proportion of underweight children under five years old (Child Stunting and Child Wasting), and the proportion of children dying before age five (Child Mortality). The index ranks countries on a 100 point scale, with 0 being the best and 100 the worst.
