The Land Tenure Journal, launched in early 2010, is a successor to the Land Reform, Land Settlement and Cooperatives, which was published between 1964 and 2009. The Land Tenure Journal is a medium for the dissemination of quality information and diversified views on land and natural resources tenure. It aims to be a leading publication in the areas of land tenure, land policy and land reform. The prime beneficiaries of the journal are land administrators and professionals although it also allows room for relevant academic contributions and theoretical analyses.

Land Tenure Journal 2/2011 - Revue des questions foncières 2/2011
This thematic issue of the Land Tenure Journal brings together theories and practices related to land tenure and climate change both from the mitigation and adaptation perspectives. Articles look at the implications that REDD+ and Payments for Environmental Services pose to land tenure and administration, propose approaches to deal with the new challenges and analyse the adaptation of local tenure systems and livelihoods to climate change.
FAO Land Tenure Journal 1/2011
A new issue of the FAO Land Tenure Journal is now published in both hardcopy and in electronic formats. The 1/2011 issue features five continents and subcontinents exploring common challenges including tenure governance, the legal recognition of customary tenures, land scarcity and redistributive reforms, and the increasing role of information technology in tenure systems. The Land Tenure Journal provides an open, impartial and practice-oriented global forum for promoting the latest knowledge in land tenure.
