This Ministerial Decree establishes that qualification requirements set for licensing of land surveys and topographic, geodetic and cartographic activities shall include mandatory certification of equipment and devices used for measurement of the national territory, and registration thereof by the competent public authority.

The scope of this Law shall be to protect public interests with a view of ensuring territorial integrity, national, economic and energetic security, social protection of the population, environmental protection, rational management of natural resources and conservation of historical and cultural heritage.

Article 26 shall be amended to add the following wording: “State geodetic survey shall be carried out by the State Property Committee of the Republic of Belarus in accordance with the modalities established by the acts of the President of the Republic of Belarus.”

The purpose of the present Act is to establish a national spatial data infrastructure. The Act provides the legal framework for: 1) access to spatial data, spatial data and metadata services of spatial data holding agencies and 2) the use of these data and services, especially for measures which may have some impact on the environment. This Act allows authorized land officers to ascertain and mark by landmarks the proper boundaries of every grant of lands within Western Australia. Authorized land officers shall then report the boundaries along with a description of the several landmarks placed therein for approval to the Governor-in-Council.

The Parties have agreed to cooperate in the following fields: (a) topographic, geodetic and cartographic activity; (b) publishing of maps; (c) aerial survey of the territory and exchange of distant zoning data; (d) exchange of geodetic and geographic information; and (e) exchange and training of staff and experts.

The present Regulation is made under the Environment Quality Act (R.S.Q. c. Q. 2). Section 1 establishes that the Regulation applies to all holders of a certificate of authorization issued by the Government or by the Minister for carrying out: 1) drilling work to explore for or produce petroleum or natural gas in shale; and 2) fracturing operations intended to explore for or produce petroleum or natural gas. Furthermore, the Regulation applies in a reserved area and an agricultural zone established under the Act respecting the preservation of agricultural land and agricultural activities.

The present Act lays down provisions relating to the activity of land surveyors in Québec. Section 2 establishes that all the persons qualified to practise the profession of land surveyor in Québec constitute a professional order called the “Ordre professionnel des arpenteurs-géomètres du Québec”. Section 34 contains the practice of the profession of land surveyor.
