Ethiopia Church Forest Initiative

The project aims to employ an integrated approach for conserving church forests and increase climate resilience by raising the adoption of sustainable land management practices, unveiling income-generating activities for communities and more. It targets six forests in Amhara Region and Menagesha Town. Planned effects:The Orthodox Church is a climate ambassador promoting forest protection; Church forests are protected from degradation; Nearby communities have increased climate resilience.
