Argentina

Argentina es el octavo país más grande del mundo, con una superficie continental de más de 2,7 millones de km2. Tiene una población de 44 millones de habitantes, de los cuales el 90% vive en zonas urbanas. Argentina está considerada como una economía emergente media, pero sus resultados económicos han sido inestables y se han visto afectados por una elevada inflación. Esta situación económica y una política abierta a las inversiones extranjeras han determinado la gobernanza de la tierra en el país, que ha favorecido las adquisiciones e inversiones a gran escala con importantes consecuencias para los pequeños productores y para el medio ambiente.
