This Regulation, consisting of 66 sections divided into nine Parts, implements the Land Act 1994 to ensure the proper administration of State land, including allocating land to its most appropriate use and most appropriate tenure and ensuring that the community receives a fair and appropriate return on its land asset.The Regulation prescribes the guidelines for trustee permits and leases (Part 2), regulates land holdings (Part 3) and matters affecting land holdings including rents, concessional rents, etc.(Part 4).

Aboriginal Land Regulation 2011.

This Regulation provides for the implementation of the Aboriginal Land Act 1991. The Regulation is divided into 8 Parts (56 regulations) and is completed by 5 Schedules. Part 2 sets out provisions on land trusts and Part 3 provides codes of conduct about mining leases. Part 4 prescribes mining royalties and Part 5 regulates appeals to the Land Appeal Court. The remaining Parts address declarations, provisions of miscellaneous nature, and transitional provisions.

Recreation Areas Management Act 2006.

The purpose of this Act is the establishment, maintenance and use of recreation areas, and to provide, coordinate, integrate and improve recreational planning, recreational facilities and recreational management for recreation areas.The Act consists of 12 Parts divided into 251 sections. Part 2 provides for the establishment of recreational areas and Part 3 concerns the preparation, contents and approval of management plans. Part 4 covers provisions regarding the access to, and permits for, recreation areas and Part 5 deals with commercial activity agreements for recreation areas.

Recreation Areas Management Regulation 2007.

This Regulation, consisting of nine Parts divided into 60 sections, implements the Recreation Areas Management Act 2006 by providing specifications on the management of five recreational areas: Bribie Island, Fraser Island, Green Island, Inskip Peninsula and Moreton Island. The Regulation provides for permits required under the Act and prescribes restrictions on the use of vehicles, the taking of animals and plants and the depositing of waste into recreation areas.
