En septiembre de 2022, Sierra Leona promulgó leyes sin precedentes relacionadas con la tierra, el clima y el desarrollo sostenible. Esta nueva ley transforma la capacidad de las comunidades para proteger sus derechos sobre la tierra y buscar el desarrollo sostenible. En este seminario web se analizarán los procesos, las experiencias, los retos y el contexto de esta nueva ley, destacando las nuevas responsabilidades en Sierra Leona.

Este año, el Foro de la Tierra LAC se llevará a cabo del 12 al 15 de octubre y tendrá como tema medular los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) y el papel central que cumplen los derechos sobre la tierra para alcanzarlos.
