Dwayne is passionate about using communication as a collaborative tool for positive change. He has worked for over 15 years in the fields of humanitarian emergency work and human rights in the Caucasus, Middle East, Central and Southeastern Asia, Northern & Eastern Africa and Europe for several NGOs, including World Vision and CARE. His work has focused on child rights, freedom of expression and Indigenous Peoples' rights. He started working for IWGIA in 2019 and holds a Master’s in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
