Topics and Regions
Linda Engström's overarching research interests are within global and bilateral development policies and their impacts on rural smallholders and herders in East Africa, with a particular focus on land governance and land justice. With a background as a senior development policy advisor, she has gained an in-depth understanding of development practice and is also engaged in bridging the gap between research and policy development and implementation, for instance through an active engagement in SweDev - a network for researchers within development research and development practitioners and the Land Rights Research Initiative, LARRI.
