The present Law implements and completes the Federal Agriculture Act of 29 April 1998. The purpose of the present Law is to promote and improve the agriculture, including alpine economy, as well as to create a favourable framework for its sustainable development.
The present Ordinance regulates the implementation of the Federal Agricultural Lease Act of 4 October 1985.
The purpose of the present Ordinance is to regulate the cultivation and management of alpine regions and the related existing rights of lease and preemption thereof. The kind and extension of the cultivation and management shall be carried out according to ecological principles.
The present Ordinance implements the Council Directive 91/676/EEC concerning the protection of waters against pollution caused by nitrates from agricultural sources.
The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the conversion of lease into property in agricultural enterprises. Article 1 establishes the necessary conditions for such a conversion and in particular that the lease will have lasted for not less than six years.
The present Ordinance implements the Federal Act on agricultural lease of 4 October 1985. In particular, the Ordinance defines the competences and proceedings in the implementation of the federal legislation on agricultural lease.
The present Ordinance implements the Council Directive 91/676/EEC concerning the protection of waters against pollution caused by nitrates from agricultural sources. The present Ordinance applies to plants storing fertilizers containing nitrates.
The purpose of the present Ordinance is to transpose into German law the Council Directive 91/676/EEC concerning the protection of waters against pollution caused by nitrates from agricultural sources of 12 December 1991.
