Judith works as project leader for the UNEP-WCMC’s UN-REDD Programme country work in Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Paraguay and Peru. She has supported work on multiple benefits of REDD+ and safeguards in several countries, and has collaborated with national counterparts to produce technical papers on using spatial information to support REDD+ planning, including in Paraguay and Panama. She was the technical lead for the development of the safeguards module for the REDD+ Academy, and facilitated safeguards sessions at the first regional REDD+ Academies in the Asia Pacific and Latin America and the Caribbean regions. She was a co-author of the UN-REDD technical resource REDD+ Safeguard Information Systems: Practical Design Considerations.
