Instituto Brasil Central (IBRACE) will extend training to around 100 community leaders of low-income communities in participatory governance mechanisms that facilitate the discussion, monitoring, and implementation of public policies focused on sustainable rural development, biodiversity conservation, and social programs. This project will work with land reform settlement farmers, quilombola (maroon) communities, indigenous groups, and social movements in the northeastern region of the state of Gois. This project will benefit approximately 200 individuals directly and at least 85,000 people indirectly.
