Organizing committee of ILDC is very happy to announce 2nd India Land and Development Conference to continue inclusive and interdisciplinary conversations among stakeholders around land governance in India.
The Foundation for Ecological Security (FES) supported a scoping study to understand the range of post CFR issues in the central Indian landscape, especially in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Odisha. It also proactively sought to draw experiences from states such as Maharashtra and Kerala where established mechanisms related to post CFR issues have been implemented through various partnerships.
THE mention of Sierra Leone invariably conjures images of the protracted civil war and the Ebola outbreak that afflicted this West African country.
However that is not all about Sierra Leone; there are a lot of positives the country can showcase which include good practices in land administration.
At the just-ended 2017 Conference on Land Policy in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, the West African country unveiled its good practices from implementing the Voluntary Guidelines on the Responsible Governance of Tenure (VGGT).
