The Netherlands Enterprise & Development Agency (RVO – Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland) supports entrepreneurs, NGOs, knowledge institutions and organisations. It aims to facilitate entrepreneurship, improve collaborations, strengthen positions and help realise national and international ambitions with funding, networking, know-how and compliance with laws and regulations.
RVO is a government agency which operates under the auspices of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy of the Netherlands. Its activities are commissioned by the various Dutch ministries and the European Union. RVO is the managing entity of the LAND-at-scale programme, commissioned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands.

Understanding Institutional Access, Strengthening, and Coordination for Land Dispute Resolution
Considering the challenges of conflict management, mediation, and dispute resolution in numerous countries, several LAND-at-scale (LAS) interventions aim to strengthen and improve access to institutions of dispute resolution. Recent LAS interventions build on previous efforts since 2002 by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs to strengthen land tenure security, increasingly recognising durable and equitable solutions, especially for marginalised people.

Dans les zones rurales, où l’agriculture est la principale source de subsistance, la terre est bien plus qu’une simple ressource économique ; elle est essentielle à l’identité et à la culture des communautés. L’insécurité foncière, souvent causée par des conflits, des politiques foncières mal définies ou des systèmes de propriété inadéquats, peut mener à des déplacements de populations et à une utilisation inefficace des terres.

Au Burkina Faso, depuis ces trente dernières années, le foncier fait l’objet d’une attention particulière, tant au niveau des pouvoirs publics que des communautés villageoises, en raison de son importance stratégique pour le développement socioéconomique et la préservation de la paix sociale et des écosystèmes.
Cette situation a conduit le gouvernement à opérer des réformes foncières qui ont abouti à l’élaboration d’une politique nationale de sécurisation foncière en milieu rural adoptée par décret.

L’outil Mobile Application to Secure Tenure (MAST) joue un rôle crucial dans le processus de sécurisation foncière au Burkina Faso. Ce système numérique permet une meilleure collaboration entre les acteurs impliqués et simplifie le processus de délimitation des terres.
