This Decree, consisting of 14 articles, regulates item V of the caput of art. 17 of Law 8,629 of 25 February 1993, providing for the settlement credits within the agrarian reform programme.

This Norm, consisting of 13 Chapters and one Annex, establishes the basic guidelines for the administrative and technical procedures for actions to obtain rural properties for the settlement of rural workers.

This Decree amends articles 8 and 13 of Decree No. 4.892 regulating Act No. 93 creating the Fund for Land and Agricultural Reform. Amendments deal with new financial amounts and assistance requirements to be used for programmes and projects related to agrarian development.

This Decree, composed of 4 articles, declares of social interest, for the purposes of the agrarian reform, the following rural properties: Fazenda Lagoa do Coiqui, Fazenda Pau Assú and Fazenda Rio Negro e outras.

This Decree, composed of 2 articles, modifies the delimitation of the rural property “Volta Cariacá”, located in the State of Bahia, to be declared of social interest for the purposes of the agrarian reform.
