Showing items 1 through 9 of 12.The purpose of the present Law is to safeguard the public interest on the occasion of the transfer of land or parts thereof, taking into account the need to comply with the principles of a sustainable protection of the environment, nature and landscape.
The present Law lays down provisions relating to land and forestry in Carinthia. Article 1 establishes that the subdivision of forestry land is prohibited if requirements for a proper forest management are no longer complied with.
The purpose of the present Law is to promote agriculture and forestry in such a way as to fulfil within the global economy their basic functions for the general well-being.
The present Law lays down provisions relating to the reorganization of field and forestry land. The Law contains at the outset a definition clause relating to various terms employed therein, such as for example, “field”, “forest”, “land owner”, “beneficiary”, “private path”, “right of entry”.
The present Law implements the Federal Land Parcel Act (BGBl. I p. 1091) of 28 July 1961. Article 1 establishes that the sale of land up to a size of 0.25 hectare does not require any authorization according to the aforementioned Federal Act. The text consists of 2 articles.
Article 1 of the above-mentioned Law establishes that the division of forest land as a result of which a remaining part of land would reach no longer the minimum size for forestry management is forbidden. The minimum size is 1 ha and a minimum width of 40 m.
The present Law lays down provisions relating to property issues of existing forestry cooperatives.
The present Law introduces some minor amendments to the Land Transaction Law 2001 (LGBl. 9/2002). In particular, the Law amends article 2 dealing with legal transactions of forestry land. The text consists of 4 articles.

According to article 91a, paragraph 1, of the German Constitution (Grundgesetz) measures on the improvement of production methods, working conditions, management and in general in the agricultural, fishery, forestry and water sector shall be taken with the agreement of regional governments.
