Guatemala, 19 nov (EFE).- El comisionado de las Naciones Unidas para los Derechos Humanos, Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein, expresó hoy su preocupación por los desalojos forzosos de los pueblos indígenas, las amenazas a los jueces, los ataques a periodistas y la violencia contra la mujer en Guatemala.

El Alto Mira y Frontera, en Tumaco, es uno de los 16 Consejos Comunitarios que existen en el Pacífico sur. Se trata de 46 mil hectáreas que el Gobierno reconoció como territorio colectivo de las poblaciones afro en 2003, en la frontera con Ecuador. La resolución de ello la emitió el entonces Instituto Colombiano de la Reforma Agraria, Incora.

La Cumbre Agraria Campesina, Étnica y Popular de Colombia convocó recientemente a una movilización nacional para repudiar la masacre en Tumaco (sureste) ocurrida el 5 de octubre por parte de la fuerza pública.
