This page aims to provide information and to contribute to the dissemination and promotion of the Voluntary Guidelines on Responsible Governance of Tenure of Land, Fisheries and Forests in the Context of National Food Security (VGs) among the Land Portal partners and users and beyond.

The VGs were endorsed by the Committee on World Food Security (CFS) at its Thirty-eight (Special) Session on 11 May 2012, after a broad set of consultations, which involved more than 700 people from 133 countries.
