Land for Life Award | Land Portal

Are you doing great work to restore land and soils?  The UNCCD is now calling for applications for the 2013 Land for Life Award.  The award will recognize innovation and excellence in sustainable land management, particularly collaborative efforts that promote soil health and benefit people in the drylands. Three winners will be selected by an expert jury which will grant awards from a total prize fund of up to USD 100,000. Nominations are welcome from individuals, businesses, research and academic institutions, local governments, journalists and civil society organizations. The deadline for applications is 15 March 2013.
