La chambre haute du parlement a adopté lundi 13 novembre la proposition de loi modifiant et complétant la loi de 2011, portant principes fondamentaux relatifs à l’agriculture en RDC.

Au micro de Radio Okapi, l’auteur de cette règlementation, le sénateur Flore Musendu, a estimé que cette loi permettra à la RDC d’attirer des capitaux étrangers dans le secteur d’agriculture car elle autorise pour la première fois l’ouverture du secteur agricole a tous les opérateurs économiques nationaux et étrangers.

Certains sénateurs craignent cependant que cette nouvelle loi favorise la spoliation des terres congolaises par des opérateurs économiques étrangers.

Le sénateur Jacques Djoli a plaidé pour la mise en place d’une véritable politique agricole en RDC pour d’une part attirer les capitaux étrangers et d’autre part protéger les propriétés des autochtones.
